Matted fur constantly pulls at a pet’s skin. Mat “removal” is a difficult, lengthy and painful process for the pet which may lead to cuts and bruises. A “complete shave-down” is often safer and less painful. Our groomer will advise if dematting is possible. If dematting is not possible we will be required to do a shave-down as this is the best option for the health and safety of the pet. Please be aware a shave-down may reveal hidden irritations, infections, sores or parasites. By selecting one option below you agree to the above terms.
